Backyard Fun

The kids had fun this morning playing in our backyard like they do most days that the weather is nice. Carson has decided that the grass is not so bad and it’s easier on his knees than crawling on our rough patio. He really likes to climb up and down the car ramp!

Olivia is so funny. I try my best to just capture pictures of her when she’s not looking or I distract her with conversation…otherwise we always end up with this goofy smile!

But she’s so beautiful when she’s not being goofy.

Carson was showing off not only his new outfit that Gramma Pat sent him for his birthday, but also the fact that he can scale the big pink slide in a single bound!

But alas each time he would get halfway up, slip, and come belly-sliding back down.

Boo stops to pose at the top of the car ramp.

You just want to pinch those cheeks!

At her request, I submit this lovely photograph of a dead leaf Olivia is proudly displaying.

Carson braves the speedy race track and hopes that I give him a push before Olivia catches up to him.

Too late. Now he can only hope she doesn’t push him too hard!

“Look mom! Olivia took all the toys and is throwing them over the fence into the neighbors pool!”

“I’m ready to ride, already! Someone push me!”

“Seriously! I’m not sitting still for any more pictures.”

Weeeeeeeee! He hung on like a champ!

Now it’s Boo’s turn. She waited oh so patiently. OK, so I lied. She was screaming, “Boo’s turn! Boo’s turn!” the entire time I was taking the photo’s above.

Playtime ended with everyone skipping indoors for a snack…laughing and smiling all the while. OK, I lied again. Minutes after this photo was taken I turned my back. Big mistake. Carson crawled to the bottom of the ramp and Olivia zoomed down the track smashing right into his face. A bloody lip and a spank ensued.
