Tales From The Toybox

So the plan for the weekend was to paint our downstairs. That was the plan, anyway. We purchased 4 different shades to test and this is as far as we got.

SO, being that I was all geared up to paint and we couldn’t decide on a color for downstairs, I got a wild hair and literally on a whim decided to start with Boo’s room. I don’t know what made me do it. I had pictured in my head for over a year now a subtle pink room with delicate little flowers. Welcome to a very NON-subtle room: 

Olivia loves the leaf canopy over her bed. I purchased the frames for .99 cents each and just printed pictures of flowers off the internet.

These adorable little lights were $6.99 at Ikea. I just love that place!!

Of course we can’t forget Olivia’s “chicken.” She still talks about how Santa brought it just for her!

I was acting so crazy to get her to smile in the last picture that she got tickled.

We had a lot of fun doing her room. Lindsay and I did most of it and Noah helped us hang things at the end.

Olivia loves it! Now we need to settle on a color for downstairs!
